This event begins with a 30 day submission period where licensed NYS Hemp Farmers are able to submit raw / cured hemp flower product to the events judges. Submissions will be allowed Nov. 21-December 21st 2020.
Submissions will require a $100 contribution. $50 will be used to pay for an independent 3rd party COA test. The remaining funds will be allocated to local and regional community initiatives.
Flower submissions will be graded on a variety of factors judged by industry experts for their smell, structure, COA’s and more. The official grading matrix will be available online at flwrcitycup.com in the coming weeks.
The top 14 submissions will be selected for the Harvest Cup Finals, which conclude with a live “blind” judging that will determine the Harvest Cup champions. The finale of Harvest Cup will happen on Jan 24th - live on a screen near you!
Flower Submissions
Below is the outline for requirements to submit your flower!
Our goal is to make this process simple, easy and fun for everyone involved.

Entry Dates:
Registration forms must be completed and
flower submissions postmarked by January 1st, 2021
in order to compete!
Entry Fees:
$100 to enter competition (+ 1 submission)
$50 for all other submissions
Submission Requirements:
2 Ounces (56 grams) of Flower**
Must Be Sealed in Smell Proof Container
NYS Hemp Growers License
CBD / CBG Dominant
<.3% Delta 9 THC
3rd Party COA
NYS Grown
**2 Ounces (56 Grams) of Flower**
3 grams will go to 3rd Party Testing Lab,
1 gram will be used for initial grading,
40 grams will go to public voting committee (1 gram / 40 judges),
12 grams will be used for final competition (1 gram / 12 judges)

Peoples Choice Awards
This year we will be selecting 40 people to serve as our People's Choice Judges for the 2020 Harvest Cup.
If selected, you will be able to grade all flower submissions, rating them on touch, taste, smell, and looks.
When you purchase a "People's Choice" ticket, you will receive a box in early January containing the following:
- 14 grams of CBD flower (min); 1 gram of each submission
- Swag from the Cup & sponsoring businesses.
- Chance to win an ounce of the "Harvest Cup" Champion flower
All proceeds from the event, including ticket sales, will be donated to three local non-profit organizations feeding, housing and empowering youth in these times of need:
